Continuing Education - Georgia
Georgia Cosmetology and Barbers board licensees are required to complete five (5) hours of continuing education courses to renew any of the following license types:
- Master Cosmetologist
- Hair Designer
- Esthetician
- Nail Technician
- Master Barber
- Barber II
Are there specific continuing education courses that are required to renew my license?
Yes. Three of the five required hours must be satisfied by a course in health and safety that has been developed or approved by the Board.
The other two hours must be a course that is registered with the Board. We offer both courses that have been approved by the Board and fulfill all 5 hours needed to renew your license type.
